Band Overview
Cara Q is a five-piece band that has been performing at venues and events in the Ottawa area since 2011. We specialize in delivering high-energy entertainment built around recognizable songs that encourage audience engagement, singalongs, and dancing. Ideal for public events, social nights, patio evenings and tournaments, Cara Q consistently delivers a performance that enhances guest experience and contributes to a lively and enjoyable atmosphere.
Musical Style and Format
Genre: Classic rock featuring well-known songs from the 1960s, 70s, and 80s. If appropriate, the band repertoire can also include some French-Canadian music.
Structure: A standard four-hour engagement consists of three one-hour sets, with two 30-min breaks. The set structure can be modified to accommodate event preferences.
Volume Level: Cara Q uses a dedicated sound technician, allowing volume to be tailored to venue or event preferences and adjusted in real time.
Technical & Logistical Details
Equipment Provided: The band provides all required sound equipment.
Venue Requirements: A suitable performance area (16’ x 12’) with access to standard power. Outdoor performances must include protective cover (e.g., tent or covered patio).
